Lifespan Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
|
Welcome to Lifespan Employee Assistance Program (EAP). We would like to take a brief opportunity to explain the scope of this program and its utilization. The Employee Assistance Program is a cost-free benefit offered to individuals and their families by their employer. It is a short-term, therapeutic service geared to provide assessment and/or brief treatment to employees and their family members. Lifespan offers up to six sessions each lasting 50 minutes in duration to each identified client. At times, the presenting issues can meet with resolution during this brief time period and at other times a referral for more ongoing services is facilitated. If the latter example is applicable, your therapist will identify this need as soon as it becomes clinically apparent.
All therapists employed through Lifespan have a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work or a related field. We also have Master’s level clinical interns providing direct service under the supervision of our licensed staff. We are committed to providing professional, client-centered services. Our clinical staff has a diverse background of training and is prepared to meet your presenting needs.
Individuals are referred to the Lifespan Program either voluntarily or mandated through Human Resources and/or a supervisor. In mandated referral situations, we require written permission to communicate the levels of cooperation and progress to the referring individual(s). Confidentiality guidelines apply to all clients served and your therapist will provide you with a document explaining all of those important facts. |
